You will come across QuickBooks Update Error 12007 during a QuickBooks update timeout. It could also pop up if the software fails to get access to the server or the internet.
It can also show up when you try to download payroll or as the name suggests, update QuickBooks. To troubleshoot QuickBooks Error 12007, you need to install the latest update of your system and then download the latest update available for the QuickBooks desktop.
Make it a point to check that you have an active internet connection. Update the internet explorer and make it your default browser as it works best with internet explorer.
Check your SSL settings and restrict firewall or go to select ‘Allow QuickBooks connection.’ Once you are done with it, restart your laptop to see if the issue has been resolved or not.

If you facing a problem on your PC/laptop windows update error 0x80070015. So you need to check your windows update setting. if it gets the auto-update error. then you need to update manually.
