    What I mean is that where the metal syringe touched the ice, the ice melted rather rapidly, resulting in a bit bigger of a hole in the top than I would like. First world problems I guess. I want to get this process to where even a trained monkey can handle it, so I’ll try to find a solution.

    I keep having the problem of the syringe melting the ice. I’d kill for a syringe with a plastic needle but I can’t seem to find any.

    Also, I’m curious what you guys have figured out for getting the hole into it without it being too large. My best effort yet is a chilled Dremel blade, but that doesn’t seem too reliable if you’re doing many of these at once.

    Actually, I wonder if I just froze it with a toothpick in the top hole on the mold if that would work. Might be as easy as tipping it upside-down to drain then.
